The Darwan Singh Museum, also known as the Garhwali Museum, was inaugurated in 1983 to preserve and display the artifacts and achievements of the Garhwal Rifles. It is named after Naik Darwan Singh Negi, the first Indian soldier to be awarded the Victoria Cross during World War I.
The museum serves as a proud repository of the regiment's glorious history, from its raising in the 19th century to its contributions in modern-day conflicts.
