What To Expect?
A spiritual journey to a mountaintop. You can now reach the temple via a 10-minute ropeway ride or a steep 2-km trek. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Sati. On clear days, you can see snow-capped ranges including Nanda Devi and Kedarnath. The air at the top is incredibly crisp and thin.

The Legend of Sati
This temple is where the head of Goddess Sati is believed to have fallen when Lord Shiva was carrying her body. It is one of the most prominent Shakti Peeths in North India.

Located 8 km from Dhanaulti at Kaddukhal. Take a taxi to Kaddukhal and then the ropeway or trek.
