Two sprawling forest areas (Amber and Dhara) developed by the forest department, known for their sky-high deodar trees and peaceful walking trails.
What To Expect?
A refreshing walk through dense woods where the sunlight filters through tall cedar needles. There are designated 'Yoga' spots, children's play areas, and adventure activities like the 'Flying Fox' and Burma Bridge. It is remarkably clean and serves as the primary attraction for families and couples looking for a quiet picnic.

- Wear comfortable walking shoes with good grip as paths can be damp.
- The early morning (7 AM) visit offers the best chance for bird sightings.
- Try the local rhododendron juice sold at the entrance stalls.
Exploring Eco Park (Amber & Dhara)
Forest Immersion
The parks were created to generate employment for local youth while preserving the high-altitude ecosystem. Amber and Dhara are located about 200 meters apart.
You can also adopt a sapling here in memory of a loved one, which the forest department will look after.

Located on the main Mussoorie-Chamba road in Dhanaulti. Easily reachable by foot from most local hotels.
