A Hidden Gem
The name 'Pathiramanal' means 'Sands of Night'. Legend says a young Brahmin priest dove into the lake and the land rose up to create this island.
The island is only accessible by boat. Most houseboat or Shikara operators can include a stop here in your itinerary.
