What To Expect?
Dense green tea carpets punctuated by patches of rainforest. Unlike Ooty, Valparai is not a commercial hub. It is common to see wild elephants and bison grazing right next to the tea estates. The Sholayar Dam and Nallamudi Viewpoint offer grand vistas of the Western Ghats. It’s a land of 40 hairpin bends, leopards, and Great Indian Hornbills.
