An uninhabited island that was once a major sacred center. Walk through the Terrace of the Lions, see the ancient theater, and marvel at the mosaics in the House of Dionysus. The entire island is an open-air museum. You can climb Mt. Kynthos for an incredible view of the surrounding Cycladic islands.

The Sacred Island
According to mythology, Delos is the birthplace of the twin gods Apollo and Artemis. It was considered so sacred that for centuries, no one was allowed to either be born or die on the island.
The museum on the island houses some of the most significant archaic and classical sculptures found during excavations.
How to reach Island of Delos
Take a 30-minute ferry from the West side of the Mykonos Town (Chora) Old Port.
