- Wear comfortable walking shoes as you will need to climb around 100-200 steps to reach the shrine.

Perched atop a hillock inside a cave, Aishmuqam houses the shrine of Sheikh Zain-Ud-Din, a 15th-century Sufi saint and one of the chief disciples of Sheikh Noor-ud-din Wali. The shrine is considered one of the most sacred Sufi sites in Jammu and Kashmir, drawing devotees from all faiths.
The main attraction is the cave where the saint is said to have spent many years in deep meditation. The architecture reflects traditional Kashmiri wooden craftsmanship with beautiful lattice work. Every year, the shrine hosts the 'Zool' festival, where thousands of devotees carry flaming torches up the hill, symbolizing the victory of light over darkness.

Located on the Anantnag-Pahalgam road, about 15 km before Pahalgam. It is a 30-minute drive from Pahalgam town and is easily accessible by taxi or local shared vans.
