More About Gurudwara Shri Manikaran Sahib
Nestled in the Parvati Valley, Manikaran Sahib is one of the most important pilgrimage sites for Sikhs. Legend has it that Guru Nanak Dev Ji visited this place with his disciple Bhai Mardana. When they lacked fire to cook food, the Guru lifted a stone and a hot spring appeared, which is still used today to cook the daily Langar for thousands of devotees.
The Gurudwara is built at an altitude of 1,760 meters and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding snow-capped peaks. It is a unique site where the elements of fire (hot springs) and water (Parvati River) exist side-by-side in perfect harmony, providing a serene escape for spiritual seekers.
