The trek typically starts near the Anantha Padmanabha Swamy Temple and winds through dense forests of teak and sandalwood. There are several trails to explore, including the popular route to the 'Tower Viewpoint' and the path leading to the perennial Musi River origin. Located about 80 km from Hyderabad. It is best reached by private car or bike via the Appa Junction and Chevella route. The nearest railway station is Vikarabad Junction (6 km from the hills).
