The Ashram Experience
Visva-Bharati was declared a Central University and an Institution of National Importance in 1951. It was recently added to the UNESCO World Heritage list.
Walking through the Ashram, you can feel the 'Brahmo' influence in the architecture, especially the Upasana Griha, which is made of Belgian glass and comes alive with candlelight during evening prayers.
