The Hoka Legacy
The Hoka trees (Hyphaene thebaica) were brought to Diu by Portuguese sailors from Africa. Diu is the only place in the Indian subcontinent where these branching palms grow naturally.
The beach is one of the safest for swimming in the region due to its shallow and calm cove.

Located 7 km from Diu town. Local buses, autos, and rented scooters are the best ways to reach.
