Overview
A heart-shaped man-made lake with a massive 18-meter high monolithic statue of Lord Buddha standing on Gibraltar Rock.
What To Expect?
A scenic boat ride from Lumbini Park to the center of the lake to see the Buddha statue up close. The 'Necklace Road' surrounding the lake is perfect for an evening drive. At night, the lights from the nearby skyscrapers reflect in the water, and the Buddha statue is beautifully illuminated.

Engineering Marvel
Built by Ibrahim Quli Qutb Shah in 1563, it connects the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad.
The 350-ton Buddha statue was carved from a single granite rock and was famously submerged in the lake for two years after a transport mishap before being successfully installed.
