Hong Island (Koh Hong) is the main island of the Than Bok Khorani National Park. It is famous for its unique limestone formations that enclose a massive turquoise lagoon, which can only be entered by boat during high tide.
The snorkelling here is excellent right off the shore, with clear visibility and a high density of marine life including parrotfish and sergeant majors. The island also features a recently built 360-degree viewpoint with over 400 steps, offering the most iconic aerial view of the Krabi archipelago.
