The highest point in Kutch offering a panoramic view of the Great Rann and the Indo-Pak border, famous for its 400-year-old Dattatreya Temple.
What To Expect?
A breathtaking view where the white desert meets the sky and the sea. You can witness a unique daily ritual at the temple where jackals are fed 'Prasad'. There is also a 'Magnetic Hill' effect on the road where vehicles seem to move uphill on their own.
Tips
- Check your vehicle's brakes; the descent is quite steep.
- Try the local buttermilk (Chhaas) sold at the summit stalls.

The Border Watch
From the peak, you can see the white salt Rann turning into water (the Arabian Sea). On very clear days, the lights of the border outposts are visible at night.
The Jackal feeding happens twice a day—around noon and sunset—following a legend about Lord Dattatreya's compassion.
